Yes, RiskPRO courses will count toward your designation update credit upon completion of the course. (Dues are required to be paid to receive update credit.)

Yes, the RiskPRO courses are approved for state-reported CE credits.
To request or decline Continuing State Education credit for this course, log into your PROfile with the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance at https://pro.scic.com/SignIn. Once logged in, click on the “My Courses” tab on the left side of the PROfile homepage. Next, select the “Request/Decline CE” button next to the corresponding course record.
You must attend each webinar session and answer all the polling-questions for state CE and update credit.
Webinar affidavits will be required for CE for FL, SC, MI and WI.
The exam is digital and is accessed through the participant’s Learning Portal. Log in to your PROfile at https://pro.scic.com/SignIn. You will click on “Learning Portal” icon at the top of your home screen. Once you’re in the Learning Portal, you will see the title of your course. Please click on the Launch button to access the course content. If you’ve already been in the course, the button will say Resume. Launching your course will display the exam/proctor instructions, the Exam Policy Acknowledgement and Affidavit, and the digital final exam.
The exam window is the period of time the exam for your course is available. The exam window opens immediately following the course and remains open until 11:59 PM CENTRAL TIME the 2nd Thursday following the end date.
(For example: If your course ends on Tuesday, the exam window is open immediately after the end of the course until 11:59 PM the 2nd Thursday after the course ends). This is one additional week after the following Thursday.
You will have 2 hours to complete the exam.
Course materials can be found in your PROfile 14 days prior to the course.
- Any 7-hour CIRP, CISR or CSRM course.
- Any two 4-hour self-paced PRO C.E. courses.
- Any CIC, CRM, or CPRM course (satisfies up to two years of update credit).
- Any Ruble Graduate Seminar, MEGA Seminar, RiskPRO Series, or Dynamics Series course. (Dues are required to receive update credit.)
Yes, to maintain the badge/certification, you must take an approved 8-hour update option course and meet the attendance requirement by the end of your birth month each year.
Attendance Requirements:
Classroom – you must be in attendance for the entire course and sign the AM/PM attendance checks.
Webinar – you must attend each webinar session and answer all the polling-questions
Self-paced – you must complete all the coursework, quizzes and pass the Review Test.
*If you hold another Alliance designation, meeting that designation’s update requirement will also fulfill your RiskPro Certification requirement.
