As we step into 2026, the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance is continuing its mission to deliver innovative insurance education and risk management training. In a recent conversation with President & CEO William Hold, Chief Experience Officer Danielle Janecka, and Chief Marketing Officer Mitch Dunford we explored what’s ahead for our participants and the industry.
Looking Back at 2025: A Year of Growth
Last year brought major advances, including expanded self-paced CIC and CRM programs with interactive modules, quizzes, and multimedia learning. We also launched the Contractor and Restaurant Risk Professional certifications—new ways for niche-market professionals to sharpen their expertise. AlliBot, our AI tool, saw significant upgrades, including document upload and policy comparison features.
New for 2026: The CIRP Designation
This year introduces the Certified Insurance and Risk Professional (CIRP), designed for new producers. The five-course program blends technical training with sales skills—including Dynamics of Selling—all for $330 per year.
RiskPRO Keeps Growing
Two new micro-credentials arrive in 2026: Workers’ Compensation Risk Professional and Cyber Risk Professional. Like our previous RiskPRO programs, they offer practical specialization, update options, and resume-boosting digital badges.
AI-Powered Learning
AI remains central to our innovation strategy. In 2026, participants will see AI-driven prompts, adaptive exams, personalized learning paths, and scenario-based simulations—creating faster, smarter, more customized learning experiences.
Flexible Update Options
Whether through RiskPro certifications, CISR-to-CIC cross-credit, self-paced courses, or classroom seminars in destinations like Napa Valley and Las Vegas, professionals can choose the update path that fits their goals and schedules.
